Nick and Anne’s living room

Nick and Anne came to Irel Studio with a dream: a  beautiful and comfortable home in the province of Alicante. A very bright and open concept kitchen and living room was the best option for them to make the most of the Mediterranean sun, the great desire of our couple.

To create a logical separation of rooms, we use different ceiling heights, which also allows us to install an efficient ducted air system throughout the house.

To make the relaxation area with a large chaiselongue more intimate, we introduced a room divider with wooden slats, which gives the room a natural and warm appearance, and which is one of the main threads of the house, also present in the master bedroom.

All the spaces are connected to the outdoor swimming pool, separated by insulated enclosures where the light is regulated by electric roller blinds.

We crown the house with the use of artificial plants, a rug that encloses the living room, and paintings to match the decorative accessories, where the contrast in earth tones with the vividness of the blue and the electric yellow of the textile elements prevails.
